Crafting an intuitive platform for effortless pet care management and support.
Intro
Pet Cabbie, is the ultimate mobile app for pet owners seeking comprehensive assistance with their furry friend's well-being. From fundamental care routines to specialized services like drop-ins, boarding, or pet transport, Pet Cabbie goes beyond the ordinary. Collaborating with pet advocates, ensures peace of mind, granting pet owners more quality time to cherish with their beloved companions.
Challenges and Goals
The challenge in developing a pet application was addressing the diverse needs of pet owners and establishing trust in pet care services for various types of pets and owners. Achieving a balance between personalized, trustworthy care and a seamless user experience was a significant hurdle to overcome for the app's success.

The goal was to create a service that connects pet owners with true animal lovers. The mission is simple -

▫ Remove stress and anxiety from missing routine checkups, or forgetting vaccinations that help your pet stay healthy.
▫ Commit to provide a safe and effective service so your loved ones will feel comfortable.

Step 01. Research
Through user-centered research, I gained deep insights into pet owners' needs, motivations, and pain points. These findings drove me to explore innovative solutions, aligning with market expectations and optimizing the pet care app for enhanced user experience and effectiveness. Addressing identified pain points was vital for achieving this goal.

User Persona
During the user persona research, it was evident that Cabbie's (Pet caretaker) profile played a significant role in influencing user trust. Once users were convinced of Cabbie's credibility, they seamlessly proceeded to send messages using the Message screen. This highlighted the critical role of trust in fostering user engagement and interaction within the application.

Onboarding flow
The onboarding flow began with users viewing Cabbie's profile, instilling trust. Subsequently, users seamlessly engaged by sending messages through the Message screen, emphasizing trust as a crucial factor in user interaction and engagement.

Step 02.
Design & Development
During the wireframe development process, a meticulous approach was employed to plan and design the application's layout and structure. Each element underwent iterative refinement to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience, establishing the foundational design for a user-friendly and visually appealing pet care application.

Pattern Libraries & Design Systems
A systematic approach was adopted to organize design elements and patterns. Extensive refinement occurred, utilizing Figma variables to develop a scalable system, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the design process for a cohesive and polished pet care application.

Scaling Auto layout + Components
While aesthetics were vital, scalability was equally crucial. As the visual designer, I ensure that the chosen design was seamlessly adapted to accommodate all screens within the platform. Despite receiving wireframes and flows from the client, my main focus remained on crafting an engaging and visually appealing UI.

Iterated, prototyped, and tested
Iterated concept based on user feedback, interlinked diverse style screens, and implemented interactions after building a cohesive UI library. Delivered a functional Figma prototype for client engagement and continued development.
